Data from the Ministry of Commerce reveals that rapeseed oil imports have dropped significantly
According to the latest report of the Department of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Commerceoraclebasednftgames, the actual volume of rapeseed oil arriving in Hong Kong in May was 10oraclebasednftgames.890 million tons, down from the same period last yearoraclebasednftgamesfor 26oraclebasednftgames.13%。This downward trend is also reflected in import shipments during the same period, with import shipments from May 1 to 15 surging by 114.12% year-on-year to 54,400 tons. The forecast shipment volume for next month is expected to be only 3,000 tons, a sharp drop of 98.48% from the same period last year.
In terms of actual arrivals to Hong Kong, 15,200 tons of imported rapeseed oil arrived in Hong Kong in the first half of May, a year-on-year increase of 59.73%. However, the expected arrival in Hong Kong in the second half of the month is only 93,800 tons, which will drop by 32.05%. The actual arrival in Hong Kong for the entire month of May was 108,900 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 26.13%. The forecast arrival volume to Hong Kong next month will be further reduced to 24,600 tons, a drop of as much as 83.27%.
